Dauxwood Pre-School Group is open to all children in the community from the term after they have turned 2 years and 6 months old.

As a Pre-School our aim is to get the children ready for moving into Reception and Primary School. We are not a day nursery.

We accept both the universal 15 hours entitlement and the working family hours.

We have capacity for 24 children at any one time, which includes a maximum of 4x under 3’s (2.5+ year olds) per session.

As a result, we are unlikely to be able to offer the full 30 hours for an under 3.

We are not able to take children under 2 years and 6 months of age.

The hours that we can offer will also be subject to how ready we feel the children are at their “settling in sessions”.

Priority will also be given to children who have had (or have) older siblings with the Dauxwood family.

Early registration is recommended and this assists with forward planning of placements.
