In early 2014 Dauxwood became a Charitable Incorporated Organisation. This means we need a Committee of Trustees to help in the running of Dauxwood. Dauxwood is not allowed to open without a full committee, so we are always eager to welcome new members at our meetings. All our Committee members are volunteers who give their free time. If you have any suggestions for improving the pre-school or if you have any thoughts on fundraising, please let us know or come along to our meeting.

Hello, I’m Tom. I have 3 boys, aged 9, 5 and 2. My 5 year old has just left Dauxwood Preschool, moving to the Primary Academy and my 2 year old is due to join in 2025. My 5 year old really enjoyed Dauxwood and he loved telling us what he’d been up to and who he played with when he got home.
The preschool were great at pushing him and gearing him up for the move to big school. I joined the committee in September 2022 I hope to be a part of the Dauxwood community for many more years to come. I work full time as an estimator and project manager for a survey company in Godalming.
The Committee also includes Beth Guile as my fellow Co-Chair, Sarah Maple as our Treasurer, Jaz Dewan as our Secretary with Mathew Gravell and Lauren Ashby. We are also supported by Dom Roberts from the Lions and Sandy Duck from Billingshurst Parish Council.
